Foot Detox Patches - Are They a Scam?
There is no doubt that foot detox patches are a popular way to improve your health. But do they actually work? Some people have even raised the question as to whether they are an elaborate scam. In this article we will discuss some of the questions that have been raised about this product.
Eastern and Western medicine
Foot detox patches are very popular in Japan and the Far East. Here they have a very different way of looking at health. This traditional way of thinking about the body does not easily fit into the Western view of medicine. Indeed most orthodox doctors will tell you the organs of elimination of toxins are principally the kidneys and the liver. This has been proven by clinical and medical studies. But is there also a case for the sweat glands being a way for the body to get rid of toxins as well? Although this is not something that many doctors in the West would think of, there are many alternative health practitioners who believe this to be the case.
TV infomercials
Once a product gets into the hands of serious marketing people then the benefits can sometimes be exaggerated. And once it hits our TV screens in the form of a commercial then this is even more the case. It is no wonder that some people think that a product that works 'while you sleep' could be a scam. They are used to having to work to get results. Whether it is through exercise and the 'no pain, no gain' mentality or by radically changing the diet. Certainly when I first saw the ad I thought this couldn't possibly be for real. But having researched the use of the product and its origins in Japan, I now think it could actually be genuine. Indeed there are thousands of people in Japan who use foot detox patches on a regular basis and obviously feel that they have benefited from their use.
Your choice
At the end of the day the choice of whether you use the product is down to you. Do your own research and see whether you want to try foot detox patches. There are no known side effects and the products used in it are all natural.
